Swire Properties Once Again Named Hong Kong's Most Attractive Employer

Swire Properties has been recognised as Hong Kong's Most Attractive Employer at the Randstad Employer Brand Awards 2022, underlining the Company's commitment to invest in its people to create an open, inclusive and rewarding workplace environment, with an emphasis on gender equality and diversity.

Randstad's 2022 Employer Brand Research surveyed over 3,000 respondents in Hong Kong. The research confirmed that, while 60% of respondents were familiar with the Company, 62% of them wanted to work for Swire Properties. The Company scored highly in employee value proposition factors such as of job security, career progression, corporate reputation and work-life balance.

This is the second time that Swire Properties has received this recognition having topped the list in 2020. It has been ranked among the top ten positions since 2017.

"We're delighted to once again be named Hong Kong's Most Attractive Employer, which is especially meaningful given our 50th anniversary celebrations this year. Our achievements are driven by our constant pursuit of originality, which inspires the pioneering spirit we're renowned for. That said, originality wouldn't be possible without the human element, and it's our people who have always made the difference. Moving forward, we'll continue to do everything we can to make Swire Properties an even better place to work, where our people can thrive and realise their full potential," said Anna Thompson, Director, Human Resources at Swire Properties.

About The Coca-Cola Company
To ensure policies reflect employee needs, the Company launched its extensive, biennial and regional People's Engagement Survey in 2020 - covering Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland. In addition, regular Pulse Surveys are conducted to engage staff and invite feedback.

Staff wellbeing has been identified as a major focus area. To address this, Swire Properties has implemented multiple tailored initiatives to enhance the overall employee experience, which include: flexible working arrangements, health and safety workshops, a brand showcase via a digital onboarding experience.

Diversity & Inclusion & Gender Equality
Over the past few years, Swire Properties has placed increased emphasis on creating a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Supported by a Diversity and Inclusion Policy, which emphasises equal opportunities and eliminating bias in different forms, the Company has achieved gender balance among senior management and management positions, with 50% of management positions being held by women. What's more, Swire Properties has been collaborating with NGOs such as Zubin Foundation to offer summer internship opportunities to local ethnic minorities.

Guided by its Sustainable Development Strategy (SD 2030), where People is one of the five core pillars, Swire Properties constantly explores ways to attract and retain talent, and to create an environment with colleagues' wellbeing and happiness in mind.
