(HONG KONG) Dragonair has taken the "Best Airline Economy Class" honour in the 2014 Business Traveller China Awards, recognising the airline's efforts to elevate its passengers' inflight experience through high-quality products and services.
Dragonair has claimed a number of top awards this year, including the "Best Regional Airline" honour in the 25th Annual TTG Travel Awards for the fifth consecutive year. This latest honour was voted by readers of Business Traveller China, a renowned travel and trade magazine, and presented at a ceremony in Shanghai last night.
"We are very excited about winning this award because it provides recognition for our team and acknowledges the continued effort Dragonair has put into providing outstanding products and services," said Dragonair Chief Executive Officer Algernon Yau. "We always strive to deliver a superior travel experience for our passengers, in our core Mainland China market and to other destinations, making us the best choice for air travel across the region."
Dragonair is committed to offering passengers a premium travel experience and since early 2013 has been rolling out a comprehensive upgrade of cabins across its Airbus A330 and A321 fleets. The upgrade includes new First Class, Business Class and Economy Class seats together with a brand-new on-demand inflight entertainment system, StudioKA. This month, Dragonair begins the next step in enhancing the passenger experience when it begins to rollout new cabins on its A320 aircraft.
