Swire Properties Ltd. has agreed to sell its Festival Walk property to a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd ("Mapletree") for a cash consideration of HK$18.8 billion, subject to adjustment by reference to net current assets less current liabilities at completion. Mapletree has paid a deposit of HK$1.88 billion. Completion is expected to take place on 18th August 2011.

Swire Properties Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Swire Pacific Ltd. (HKEX: 00019/00087). Mapletree is a Singapore-based real estate development, investment and capital management company. Festival Walk is a shopping complex and office tower, in Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong. Mapletree will take full ownership and operational control of the property.
