Swire Properties has introduced numerous decarbonisation measures, such as:

• Creating a wind corridor during Taikoo Place redevelopment to reduce the buildup of warm air.

• Installing a 15m high glass façade in the office building lobby to let in more natural light.

• Employing an AI-enabled cloud-based smart energy management platform to monitor and analyse energy consumption, saving over 1 million kWh of electricity annually at Cityplaza Hong Kong, Pacific Place Hong Kong and Taikoo Hui Guangzhou since 2021!

HAECO has focused on increasing solar power generation and promoting low-carbon transport:

• Installing over 8,000 solar panels on the rooftops of its hangars, generating over 4 million kWh of electricity a year - making it the largest single-site solar power generation project in Hong Kong!

• Introducing more electric vehicles to gradually electrify its fleet.
