Professor Kenneth Leung has felt the call of the ocean his entire life, beginning with diving, swimming and fishing in Hong Kong when he was young. His passion for marine life led him to pursue a PhD in Marine Environmental Toxicology at the University of Glasgow, supported by a Swire Scholarship. Over the years, he has dedicated his skills to researching marine pollution, biodiversity, fishery resources and ecological restoration in Hong Kong’s waters. He hopes to protect the city’s marine life so that future generations can experience its natural beauty.
